Very nice hotel. Most of the staff is very friendly but a couple of people at reception with lot of attitude. The weekend we stayed was very busy with the party for the Yemanja. I guess there were a lots changes to the normal routine in the hotel and we had to accommodate all so they get ready for the celebrations. The swimming pool was closed earlier for a party. Our bedroom was located literally under the pool and where the party happened. It was noisy until the party ended. The food at the Gero restaurant was lovely and so were the stuff. Very friendly and attentive. I think in general it's a very nice hotel but they charge prices compared London and Paris 5 start hotels which is not the same level. I guess there's no competition to match. We had a lovely stay in Salvador and would love to come back to this vibrant city.

Hotel restaurant was really high quality - food looked and tasted great, lots of breakfast options to suit all tastes/needs Hotel is very tastefully decorated and rooms are elegant and sophisticated with excellent sound proofing.

The reception and concierge team is just amazing. The pool on the roof top is a perfect place to relax in buzzling Salvador.
